Lacey Hull – Candidate for Texas State Representative District 138 (Incumbent)

Lacey Hull is a native Houstonian who was born and raised in House District 138, attended Spring Branch ISD schools and earned a bachelor’s in political science and history from the University of Houston. First elected in 2020, Lacey and her family live in Spring Branch where she formerly served as president of her Homeowners Association. Lacey and her family attend Bayou City Fellowship Church.

During the 88th Legislature, Lacey was reappointed to serve on the House Committees on Human Services and Insurance, and appointed Vice-Chair of the Youth Health & Safety select committee, and to serve on the Local & Consent Calendars committee. She was also re-appointed to serve as an at-large member of the Texas House Republican Caucus Policy Committee, helping analyze policy for conservative results. Lacey additionally serves as the Chair of the Harris County delegation, where she is a proud advocate for the economic prosperity of the Houston area.

As our state representative, Lacey has a proven conservative record of fighting for our values:

✓ Successfully fought for record funding for border security

✓ Passed largest property tax cut in history

✓ Banned abortion

✓ Defended our right to bear arms

✓ Protected election integrity by making voter fraud a felony

During her freshman term, Lacey worked to pass her principal bill, “John and Joseph’s Law,” which requires the reporting of missing persons to the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System. She also worked on legislation to support and protect the rights of families, and ensure that Medicaid patients with severe mental illness maintain access to prescribed medications. 

Prior to being elected to the Texas House, Lacey worked with a variety of nonprofits to advocate for policies that protect the liberties of Texas families. As a State Representative, Lacey is committed to preserving individual liberty, unleashing economic opportunity, ensuring public safety, and providing quality education for all students.

Issues:

SECURE THE BORDER:  Lacey hull is protecting our southern border by adding $6.1 billion for the wall, installing razor wire and water buoys, and bussing thousands of illegal immigrants to NYC and Chicago.

LOWER TAXES: Lacey Hull passed the largest property tax cut in Texas history.

SAVED WOMEN’S SPORTS: Lacey Hull passed legislation to prevent biological men to compete against women in our public schools and universities.

PRO-LIFE: Lacey Hull is 100% pro-life and passed legislation to ban abortion in Texas.

PROTECTING CHILDREN: Lacey Hull passed a bill limiting what children can access on social media, protecting them from sexual predators and big tech.

SECOND AMENDMENT: Lacey Hull defended our gun rights, passing Constitutional Carry.

ELECTION INTEGRITY: Lacey Hull voted for and helped pass legislation making voter fraud a felony.

BACK THE BLUE: Lacey Hull passed a measure making it impossible for large cities to defund their police.

BAN CRT: Lacey Hull passed a measure that bans the teaching of Critical Race Theory in our Texas public schools.

PROTECT WOMEN & CHILDREN: Lacey Hull is leading efforts to stop domestic violence in Texas. Hull is fighting to protect women and children, and make sure abusers stay behind bars.
